Exodus 8:1 “And the Lord spake
unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people go, that they may serve me”.
The primary purpose of freedom is so that we can
serve God without restriction. God’s desire is for us to worship him without
any form of constraint. The whole purpose of God creating man and woman is so
that we may serve him. The devils number one desire is for you to be in bondage
and to restrict your serving towards God. Pharaoh doesn’t respect you until you
go. He will treat you anyhow. God’s desire is for us to go free. God does not
want us to serve the dictates of the devil. The devil is a liar. Liberation
begins from the mind. Our freedom begins from your mind and until you are free
in your mind, there is nothing you will be able to do. Freedom doesn’t begin
from outward, it begins from the mind. Philippians 2:5 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”. John
8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. The
truth doesn’t set us free, the truth makes us free. Matthew 4:17 “From that
time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at
hand”.
It is a
process of being made and it begins from the mind and until your mind is
renewed you will stay in the bondage of pharaoh. Following Jesus is doing it
whole heartedly. Don’t allow where you are today to determine who you are. Who you
are has no basis on where you are today. 4 Things that pharaoh represents: 1)
Pharaoh represents slavery. 2) Pharaoh represents bondage. 3) Pharaoh
represents working long hours without rewards. 4) Pharaoh represents paying very
little so that you can come back for more. God never created the Babylonian
system. The Babylonian system is working to receive pay. Luke 5:1-5 “And it came to pass, that, as the people
pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
And saw two ships standing
by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their
nets.
And he entered into one of
the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little
from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
Now when he had left
speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets
for a drought.
 And Simon answering said
unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing:
nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net”.
The Babylonian system is
toiling.
